AI is changing the way we work. But if you really want to make the most of it, you need more than just a tool. At the AI Thinking Lab, we create a space where participants can explore AI Try it out risk-free, Share experiences and Building Self-Confidence Through Interaction with AI.
In this process, we are working on real-world problems and use AI to identify user needs, analyze available data, and generate ideas.
The common thread is the design thinking process—with AI serving as the tool at every stage. This way, participants gain hands-on experience with the potential of AI in valuable, human-centered results to translate.
Who is the AI Thinking Lab intended for?
This training is designed for employees who want to truly put AI to use—as an integrated way of thinking and working that goes far beyond simply chatting. It is typically booked by executives or organizations that want to build genuine AI expertise within their teams.
What's the difference between this and other AI training programs?
The common thread is Design Thinking—a proven process that provides a structured path from problem to solution. AI is not introduced in isolation, but is made accessible as a tool at every stage of this process. Participants work with their own use cases and their own tools.
Not the right time: When the strategic direction has already been determined and all that's left is implementation. There are other formats for that.
What do participants take away from the two-day program?
Concrete results, not just slides. By the end, participants will have worked through a real-world use case—from defining the problem to testing a prototype. AI is used at every stage of the process: to understand user needs, synthesize data, generate ideas, and build digital prototypes.
On what basis was the training program developed?
The methodological foundation is our peer-reviewed book chapter (Thalmann, Suter, Bosch & Neuenschwander, 2025, Practical handbook on digital management, Springer Gabler), which documents the integration of AI and design thinking and shows the conditions under which optimal synergies arise.
How does the booking process work?
Requests for the AI Thinking Lab are submitted directly to b4g and coordinated with the organization. The format, group size, and delivery method (in-person or online) are determined during a preliminary discussion.

We work on a case that is relevant to you using your own tools. At the end of the training, initial solutions will be developed that can be pursued further if necessary.
